Events   Upcoming Events   NWC Fashion Show | The Flowers of Madison | NWC Fine Art Fair 2011 NAPERVILLE WOMAN’S CLUB FASHION SHOW - Le Style c'est Moi The Naperville Woman's Club will hold its annual Fashion Show on Saturday, October 29th at White Eagle Golf Club. This year's theme is Le Style c'est Moi. A Silent Auction, raffles, and a 50/50 drawing will begin at 10:30 a.m., with luncheon starting at noon, followed by the fashion show. The show will be produced by Two K Productions, with fashions from a la Mode, Bri'Zan Couture, Dean's, Lord & Taylor, and White House Black Market. There will also be an interactive accessories demonstration by Lillian's, and the audience members will be able to submit their fashion questions to the show moderator and fashion expert, Kristen Frederick. This year's show will focus on Fall's major fashion trends, and how to incorporate them into one's wardrobe, regardless of age, size, and budget. This year's show promises to be the most fun and interactive show ever! Brittany Acosta, "2011 Glancer Girl of the Year" will be featured. Drumroll Please for our male models...Neil Khant owner of CrossFit Naperville, Randy Deguzman co -operator of BlackFinn Restaurant, Dr. Tim Erickson owner of Symmetry Chiropratric & Wellness and Jean Paul Fekete owner of a la Mode boutique. The fashion show benefits Families Helping Families and Loaves & Fishes, the club's two focus charities for 2011-12, as well as supports the club's other philanthropic efforts. The NWC welcomes donations for the basket raffle and the silent auction. Tickets are now available for $45 each, or $450 for a table of 10, with $23 of each ticket considered tax-deductible. PDF Downloads: Event Flier | Press Release THE FLOWERS OF MADISON October 5, 2011 95th Street Library, Naperville The Naperville Public Library and the Naperville Woman's Club will co-sponsor the showing of this intriquing documentary film. The film shares the heart warming stories of a Colombian immigrant breast cancer survivor, an African American once-homeless woman, and a Mexican American postpartum depression and cancer survivor. All three women featured in this film reside in Wisconsin. In-between each woman's interview there is a modern dance performance, and in the background of each woman's interview there are mesmerizing images of midwestern seasons. One-third of the film is in Spanish, with English subtitles. NAPERVILLE WOMAN'S CLUB FINE ART FAIR The Naperville Woman's Club will host its 53rd Annual Fine Art Fair on July 14-15th, 2012 from 10am-5pm at Naper Settlement. We are pleased to be returning to Naper Settlement for this annual event. Children's activity tent, entertainment, and food available. Admission and parking are free.
