2010 Show Details | Artist Information & Application | Sponsors   Artist Information & Application   Naperville Woman’s Club 51st Annual Juried Fine Art Fair The NWC proudly announces our 51st Annual Fine Art Fair to be held July 10-11th 2010 on the grounds of  the historic Naper Settlement, 1 19th Century Museum Village, located at 523 S. Webster Street in the heart of Naperville! 1 block south of the Naperville River Walk and downtown. Hours are 10am to 5 pm Saturday and Sunday. There is no admission charge to the Fine Art Fair and the Naper Settlement is open free to the public this weekend! This is NWC’s largest fund raiser, NWC proceeds from this event are donated towards a local Art Scholarship and to local food pantries and charities. 100 artist spaces available*Over $2500 in Cash Awards ! All Artwork must be original and artist must be present. Eligible Media Participation is open to artists working in painting, drawing, fiber art, graphics, mixed media, photography, jewelry, sculpture, ceramics, metal, glass and wood. High quality 2D reproductions in signed and numbered, limited editions are allowed. Prints must be of original work produced by the artist and clearly labeled as a reproduction. This is restricted to one flip bin. Only artists accepted in the jewelry category may display and sell jewelry. If an artist is displaying in 2 mediums (example fused glass artwork and selling earrings), you must jury in both the Glass category and the jewelry category and be accepted in both. Additional jury fees apply. It is a free application service for artists and allows you to apply to many shows online! DEADLINE FOR ONLINE APPLICATION IS FEBRUARY 28, 2010 Jury Fee: $30.00 (non-refundable) Booth Fee $260.00 Paper Application Information & Slide Conversion While we highly encourage, and prefer you register online, we understand that some artists are not comfortable doing this. NWC will accept paper applications and will convert your slides to digital images for you for an additional processing fee of $30.00. NWC will then upload the images into our digital application system for you. A professional photo facility will be used, but NWC does not guarantee the quality of the digital images. NWC also realizes you may have digital images of your work but no way to upload them onto a computer for submission. For this reason, you may also take your digital images to a photo processing store and have them uploaded onto a CD disc. You may mail NWC the CD along with your paper application and we will upload the images and application on to the ZAPP system for you for a $15.00 fee. PLEASE NOTE THE DEADLINE FOR SLIDE SUBMISSION TO THE SHOW IS FEBRUARY 14TH, 2010! ONLINE DIGITAL APPLICATION IS FEBRUARY 28, 2010 Download Paper Application Paper Application Directions: • Submit 4 slides of your current work and one of your booth display in standard 2x2 plastic mounts in a protective plastic slide sleeve. Label each slide with your name, medium and place a red dot in the lower left corner for justification. Number each slide and submit a description of your work. • Print, complete and sign the application. • Submit a $30.00 non-refundable check and for jury fee AND a $30.00 Digital processing fee ($60.00 total) to: Naperville Woman’s Club • P.O. Box 9513 • Naperville, IL 60567-9513 • Please include a SASE for return of your slides. *CD Submission • Submit 4 images of your work and one of your booth display on a CD in a protective CD Sleeve. • Print, complete and sign the paper application. We will upload your application and photos onto the ZAPP System • Submit a $30.00 non-refundable jury fee and a $15.00 CD processing fee  ($45.00 total) to: Naperville Woman's Club, P.O. Please pay attention to your booth slide, it may be the deciding factor for your submission if there is a tie with the jury. Artist acceptance notification will be on or before March 30, 2010 Booth payment is due by April 30, 2010 Cancellations must be received in writing or via email by May 30th, 2010 to receive a booth refund minus a $30 processing fee. No Refunds will be given after June 1, 2010.
